Unid has been provisionally tallied to have recorded a consolidated operating loss of 2.137 billion won in the third quarter of this year, swinging to a loss year-on-year.

According to the provisional consolidated financial results disclosed by Unid on the 21st, revenue for the third quarter of this year was 378.036 billion won, up 14.91% from 328.977 billion won in the same period last year. However, compared to the previous quarter's revenue of 399.849 billion won, it decreased 5.46%.

The company recorded an operating loss of 2.137 billion won, turning to a deficit from an operating profit of 18.846 billion won in the same period last year. It also swung to a loss compared to the previous quarter's operating profit of 24.243 billion won.

Profit from continuing operations before corporate tax deduction recorded a loss of 9.217 billion won, turning to a deficit from profits of 22.923 billion won in the same period last year and 54.916 billion won in the previous quarter. Net income for the period also recorded a loss of 4.434 billion won, swinging to a loss from 16.83 billion won in the same period last year and 43.059 billion won in the previous quarter. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was also tallied at a loss of 4.434 billion won.

On a cumulative basis, revenue for the first through third quarters of this year was 1.162298 trillion won, up 17.12% from 992.423 billion won in the same period last year. In contrast, cumulative operating profit for the same period was 47.009 billion won, down 40.73% from 80.328 billion won in the same period last year.

In addition, cumulative profit from continuing operations before corporate tax deduction was 8.2145 billion won, down 3.83% year-on-year. Cumulative net income for the period and net income attributable to owners of the parent company were each 63.494 billion won, up 0.93% from the same period last year.

Unid stated that these results are provisional consolidated figures prepared in accordance with Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). The company also explained that the figures are based on internal closing data that has not yet undergone an external auditor's accounting audit, and may be subject to change depending on the results of the audit.
