On the ENA and SBS Plus co-produced variety show 'I Am SOLO,' Season 34's Youngchol is drawing attention with his direct courtship of Hyunsuk and an unexpected act.

In this episode, the Season 34 participants finished their self-introductions and then shared how attracted they were to one another. The single men each revealed the name of the woman they liked, with most picking Sunja. One participant said, "Sunja totally blew me away," while another man said, "She's exactly the ideal eldest daughter-in-law type, so I knew she'd be popular." Praise continued with comments such as, "She's the definitive daughter-in-law figure that parents would absolutely love," and "From a marriage perspective, she has everything a woman should have."

Youngchol's choice, however, was different. He expressed his interest in Hyunsuk directly in the shared living room. "If you want protein, can we just have shakes on our date?" he asked, actively courting her. Knowing that Hyunsuk likes chicken, he even showed his devotion by contacting an acquaintance in Hongcheon to find a great chicken restaurant.

However, Hyunsuk gradually showed signs of feeling burdened. In an interview, she honestly confessed, "I don't know how to react."

An unexpected scene unfolded on their first date. Midway through the meal, Youngchol suddenly left his seat, saying, "They said there's an interview, so excuse me for a moment," leaving the MCs unable to hide their surprise. MC Defconn asked, "He suddenly has an interview in the middle of a meal?" and Lee Yi-kyung also reacted, "This is a first, even for me."
