The KOSDAQ index finished the regular session at 751.69, down 12.41 points (1.62%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 748.32 and fell as low as 732.87 during the session before recovering part of its losses, rising to as high as 753.02 before ending trading in the 751 range.
Weakness was pronounced among top stocks by market capitalization. Alteogen closed at 222,000 won, down 9,000 won (3.90%) from the previous session, while Jusung Engineering finished at 179,200 won, down 7,500 won (4.02%).
EcoPro and EcoPro BM both showed weakness. EcoPro fell 4,800 won (6.22%) to 72,400 won, while EcoPro BM dropped 5,400 won (5.50%) to 92,800 won.
