DTS (0015M0) made a strong debut on the KOSDAQ market, recording a gain of more than 40% on its first day of listing. As the stock showed large price volatility from the early days of listing, attention is focused on what direction it will take in the new share trading starting on the 26th.

■ First Day Closes Up 45.68%

DTS finished trading on the 23rd in the after-market session at 26,950 won, up 8,450 won (45.68%) from its initial public offering price of 18,500 won.

On the day, DTS began trading at 32,350 won, opening at a price well above the offering price. During the session, it rose as high as 40,750 won, widening its gains to about 120.27% above the offering price.

However, the stock later gave back much of its gains, falling to as low as 23,850 won during the session, showing significant volatility within a single day. The gap between the day's high and low reached 16,900 won.

■ New Share Trading on the 26th: Key Points to Watch

The main point of interest in the new share trading beginning on the 26th is whether the buying momentum seen on the first day of listing will continue, or whether a correction will occur due to profit-taking sell orders. In particular, as the gap between the intraday high and the closing price recorded on the first day was large, investors' trading moves are expected to draw keen attention.

Meanwhile, the KOSDAQ index closed at 751.69, down 12.41 points (1.62%) from the previous trading day. The fact that DTS recorded a high gain relative to its offering price despite overall weakness in the KOSDAQ market draws attention to whether it can sustain its strength in new share trading as well.
