Announcer Shin Ah-young hosted the media showcase for group ILLIT's 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN', held at Blue Square in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 26th. ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha) made a full comeback with the release of their 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN' that day, launching a 'nationwide arrest operation.' The new album 'BREAK EVEN' tells the story of ILLIT, who had been charging straight toward someone they liked, realizing that their feelings were one-sided and declaring that they will no longer stay in a relationship where they lose. Composed of a total of four tracks, it organically unfolds the narrative of ILLIT as they reach a turning point in their relationships. The title track 'Do the Dance' is an electro-pop song that sends a warning to someone who mistook their habitual kindness for something more. A cheerful whistle sound boosts explosive energy, while diverse auditory elements such as sharp synths and punchy vocal effects express firmly pent-up anger. In particular, the instantly catchy hook boasts powerful addictiveness. Meanwhile, all tracks from the 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN' and the music video for the title track were released at 6 p.m. on the 26th, and ILLIT will begin their comeback activities starting with KBS2's 'Music Bank' on the 30th.
