Group ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) made a full comeback on the 26th with the release of their 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN,' launching what has been dubbed a 'nationwide arrest operation.'

■ "No More One-Sided Losses — I Won't Continue This Relationship"... New Album Carries a Narrative of Growth

The album 'BREAK EVEN' tells the story of ILLIT, who had been charging straight toward someone they liked, realizing their feelings were one-sided and declaring they will no longer stay in a relationship where they lose out. Across a total of four tracks, ILLIT's narrative of reaching a turning point in the relationship unfolds organically.

In terms of the track flow, the album opens with 'Super in Love,' where a blunt comment from friends makes them realize the flirtation was one-sided. This is followed by 'More,' where embarrassment turns into irritation, and reaches its climax with the title track 'I'll Arrest You' (Cheepohagetseo), where pent-up anger explodes and they resolve to cut ties. In the final track 'T.T.T (Trouble, Taboo, Trigger)' — 'Pop' — they fall instantly for a new person who appears without warning, revealing ILLIT's signature positive attitude as they transform even their failed past relationship into a process leading to a perfect ending.

■ Title Track 'I'll Arrest You'... An Electro-Pop Warning Against Habitual Kindness

The title track 'I'll Arrest You' is an electro-pop song that delivers a warning to someone whose habitual kindness led to misunderstanding. A cheerful whistle sound ramps up explosive energy, while sharp synths and punchy vocal effects — among other diverse sonic elements — express firmly grounded anger. In particular, the instantly catchy hook delivers powerful addictiveness.

■ Transforming Into 'Black Agents'... An Arrest Operation Unfolds on Stage

On stages revealed alongside the music release, ILLIT transforms into 'black agents' carrying out an arrest operation. They express the frustration and dissatisfaction felt from the other person's ambiguous attitude through rich facial expressions, and build subtle tension with controlled movements, set to captivate fans' eyes and ears.

Meanwhile, all tracks of ILLIT's new 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN,' along with the title track's music video, will be released on the 26th at 6 p.m. KST, and ILLIT will begin comeback activities starting with KBS2's 'Music Bank' on the 30rd.
