Hyundai Corporation's consolidated operating profit for the third quarter of this year was provisionally tallied at KRW 50.376 billion, up 42.31% from the same period last year.

■ Q3 Results: Revenue Rose but Net Profit Declined According to a regulatory filing on the 29th, Hyundai Corporation's consolidated revenue for the third quarter came to KRW 2,699.035 billion, an increase of 42.81% year-on-year but a decrease of 4.17% compared to the previous quarter.

Operating profit rose 42.31% compared to the same period last year, but fell 19.96% from the previous quarter. Profit from continuing operations before corporate tax expenses amounted to KRW 30.039 billion, up 11.98% year-on-year, while down 43.06% from the previous quarter.

Net profit for the period was KRW 15.902 billion, down 24.10% year-on-year and 60.54% from the previous quarter. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent company was tallied at KRW 15.932 billion, down 23.37% year-on-year and 60.41% from the previous quarter.

■ January–September Cumulative Results: Double-Digit Growth in Both Revenue and Operating Profit Cumulative consolidated revenue for January through September of this year totaled KRW 7,588.14 billion, up 33.94% from the same period last year. Cumulative operating profit for the same period rose 49.04% to KRW 159.375 billion.

Cumulative profit from continuing operations before corporate tax expenses increased 59.90% to KRW 119.201 billion, while cumulative net profit for the period grew 11.12% to KRW 67.257 billion. Cumulative net profit attributable to owners of the parent company came to KRW 67.246 billion, up 11.93% from the same period last year.

Subject to Change Before External Audit Review The company stated that these results are provisional figures based on consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). It also explained that the data has not yet undergone review by an external auditor, and the results may change during the upcoming review process.
