On the first broadcast of Channel A's variety program 'Follow Your Unnie,' Jang Young-ran, Jang Ye-won, Taiwanese influencer Shining, and K-beauty expert Yoo Seung-woo visited Busan and showcased a variety of experiences.
The group visited major attractions in Busan in turn. On the Haeundae Beach Train, they enjoyed the coastal scenery along a course converted from the former Donghae Nambu Line railway facilities. Standing in line among many foreign tourists, they also felt the popularity of Busan firsthand.
At Cheongsapo Station, Shining had her once-in-a-lifetime photos taken, capturing the beach train, the sea, and the lighthouse all at once. Then, at the Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory, located about 20 meters above sea level, they walked on a transparent glass deck, experiencing the special feeling of walking over the sea.
Shining shared the appeal of traveling in Korea, saying that when visiting Korea, "clothes shopping, buying cosmetics, and dermatology treatments are essential courses." She also noted the popularity of K-culture, saying, "It seems Korea is popular because of idols and dramas." Watching foreign tourists say Korean faces are "pretty," Jang Young-ran remarked, "It seems people really like Korean faces these days."
When Jang Young-ran asked which celebrity Yoo Seung-woo most wanted to resemble in terms of K-beauty, he named IVE's Jang Won-young as the most popular celebrity among Chinese tourists. When Jang Ye-won joked, "We have the same surname Jang, so shouldn't they bring our photos too?" Jang Young-ran shot back, "Get a grip... Ye-won," adding laughter to the scene.
A competition also took place at the Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory to help capture Shining's perfect shot. At Jang Young-ran's suggestion, whoever took the worst photo agreed to buy a meal, and Jang Ye-won expressed satisfaction with just one shot. Afterwards, the four checked the results at a grilled clam restaurant with an ocean view. Jang Young-ran took first place and was delighted, while Yoo Seung-woo expressed disappointment at coming in last. Jang Ye-won introduced the restaurant, saying, "I hear this place is famous as a grilled clam village."
The final itinerary of the trip was a K-beauty experience. Jang Young-ran played the role of a K-beauty evangelist, taking care of Shining's pore concerns. After finishing all the activities, Shining shared her thoughts: "Thanks to the unnies, I had a great experience. It was a trip that made both my body and mind healthier."
Meanwhile, 'Follow Your Unnie' is a travel variety show dealing with K-stars' beauty, fashion, and wellness, airing every Friday at 8 p.m.
