Actress Lee Ju-yeon is receiving praise for her role as Jang Seo-hyun in the KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Love Is on Its Way,' displaying a wide range of emotions as she fights to protect her family.

In recently aired episodes 26 and 27, Jang Seo-hyun took matters into her own hands after her father, Jang Hun-tae (played by Kwon Hae-hyo), faced difficulties because of Han Gyu-young (played by Park Yu-na).

Jang Seo-hyun expressed anger after witnessing her father, who normally despises violence, practicing while watching boxing videos. She was also thrown into confusion upon learning that ten years ago, her mother Ko Yoon-hee (played by Yoon Yu-sun) had refused Han Gyu-rim's request in order to take care of her.

Meanwhile, Jang Seo-hyun pretended to be a psychiatrist and visited Park Su-nam (played by Kang Ae-sim), where she came face to face with Han Gyu-young. She sparred with Han Gyu-young, who was feigning memory loss, asking, 'Is fraud your specialty, by any chance?' When Han Gyu-young grabbed her by the collar, she shot back, 'If you're going to run a scam, do it alone — why drag my father into it?' She then warned Han Gyu-young's parents-in-law to take responsibility and ensure no harm comes to Jang Hun-tae.

In addition, upon learning that Park Jung-woo's (played by Min Jin-woong) restaurant was in trouble, Jang Seo-hyun put on a server's uniform herself and helped serve customers. In the process, she unexpectedly spotted Jang Hun-tae and was visibly shocked.

Through the character of Jang Seo-hyun, Lee Ju-yeon naturally portrayed strength in protecting her family, loyalty to those around her, and the confusion surrounding her past.

Meanwhile, 'Love Is on Its Way' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m.
