Singer Shim Soo-bong apologized again for her controversial inappropriate remarks toward younger singer Kim Da-hyun during her national tour performance.

According to her agency SB Planning on the 2nd, Shim Soo-bong directly addressed the Kim Da-hyun controversy at her '2026 The Shim Soo-bong Show' national tour concert, held at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st of last month at Baekun Art Hall in Wonju, Gangwon Province. Shim Soo-bong acknowledged that her words and actions during a performance last September were wrong and expressed her apology.

Her stage remarks also included a message for Kim Da-hyun. Shim Soo-bong said she hopes her junior, who must have gone through a difficult time because of this incident, can gather herself, overcome the hardship, and grow into an excellent musician. She added that she supports Kim Da-hyun's future music activities.

She also expressed gratitude to the audience and fans who visited the concert hall despite the controversy. Shim Soo-bong conveyed that she would treasure their support.

This apology relates to remarks made on September 20 at a trot festival held in Jinan County, North Jeolla Province. At the time, Shim Soo-bong mentioned Kim Da-hyun, who had taken the stage before her, saying that it had been difficult to focus on her own performance. She then added remarks about Kim Da-hyun's age and her understanding of music and life.

Once the remarks became known, controversy arose over the appropriateness of her expressions toward the younger singer. At this Wonju performance, Shim Soo-bong once again acknowledged that there were problems with her words and actions and reiterated her apology.
