ILLIT's new song 'Arrest You' is achieving strong results across major music charts worldwide, including in the United States.

According to Spotify's official social media, 'Arrest You,' the title track of the group's fifth mini album 'BREAK EVEN,' ranked No. 1 globally and No. 3 in the U.S. on the 'Top Song Debut' chart compiled from October 30 to November 1. The b-side track 'Pop' also made the list, ranking No. 4 globally and No. 7 in the U.S. The results are especially meaningful as they were driven purely by the strength of the song itself, without any promotion such as performances or a music video.

The streaming momentum is also smooth sailing. 'Arrest You' entered Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart on its first day of release and surpassed 10 million cumulative streams within a week of its release. On Apple Music's 'Today's Top 100: Global' chart, it debuted at No. 67 on October 27 and climbed to No. 8 by November 2, and it subsequently also charted on the U.S. Billboard 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' charts as of November 7.

'Arrest You' is a Baile Funk genre track characterized by unpredictable melodies and a groovy rhythm. Whistle sounds and intense beats resonate throughout the song, and the lyrics, which list episodes from previous works as grounds for a guilty verdict, leave a lasting impression.

ILLIT's bold attitude also stood out on stage. Stage productions utilizing whistles, precise group choreography, and the members' expressive acting came together, drawing an enthusiastic response from fans.

The song's popularity continues on short-form platforms as well. As of 9 a.m. on November 4, videos using 'Arrest You' as background music on TikTok had exceeded 340,000. ILLIT released a video filter on TikTok that analyzes users' habitual kindness types and ranks them for 'arrest,' allowing listeners around the world to enjoy the song in a unique way.
