Actor Byeon Woo-seok has once again taken the top spot in the Male Acting category of the acting division at the May Netizens' Awards, solidifying his leading position as a trending actor. According to the May voting results, Byeon Woo-seok recorded first place by securing a total of 21,933 votes (41.3%). Achieving his third consecutive victory following last month, Byeon Woo-seok slightly increased his support rate compared to the previous race, proving himself to be the absolute powerhouse in the Male Acting category.
A fierce upheaval occurred in the battle for the top rankings during this May race. Lee Joon-gi, who was in 5th place last month, secured 4,360 votes (8.2%) and leaped to 2nd place in one go. Rowoon also maintained his 3rd place position with 3,956 votes (7.5%), further cementing his standing in the highest tier. Meanwhile, Ryeoun, who was in 2nd place in the previous vote, dropped two spots to 4th place with 3,893 votes (7.3%), while Kim Nam-gil rose to 5th place with 3,406 votes (6.4%), a three-step increase from this past April.
A fierce ranking competition also unfolded in the middle tier. Kim Sun-ho remained in 6th place with 2,488 votes (4.7%), while Park Bo-gum defended his 7th place spot with 2,196 votes (4.1%). Following them, Lee Min-ho moved up from 10th place last month to 8th place (1,922 votes, 3.6%), while Jang Ki-yong took 9th place (1,628 votes, 3.1%) and Jang Keun-suk claimed 10th place (1,442 votes, 2.7%).
An intense battle of fandom firepower also took place between 11th and 15th place. Um Tae-gu recorded 11th place with 1,064 votes (2.0%), and Lee Jun-ho recorded 12th place with 1,014 votes (1.9%). Na In-woo placed 13th with 865 votes (1.6%), Park Hyung-sik 14th with 811 votes (1.5%), and Bae In-hyuk settled at 15th place with 785 votes (1.5%).
The lower tier also produced meaningful voting results amid the steady support of global fans. Song Kang ranked 16th with 575 votes (1.1%), and Choo Young-woo was named 17th with 276 votes (0.5%). Seo In-guk took 18th place with 231 votes (0.4%), Park Ji-hoon 19th place with 196 votes (0.4%), and Gong Myung, who newly entered the rankings, concluded the May voting in 20th place with 16 votes.
