Hwang Young-woong's 'Oppa Came Back' firmly defended its 1st place position in the singer category Album of the Year at the May Netizens Awards. Hwang Young-woong acquired a total of 63,858 votes (a 32.2% share), recording a dominant 1st place for the second consecutive month and solidifying his standing as an absolute powerhouse amidst the full-fledged support of his solid fandom.
In 2nd place, Jung Seo-ju's 'Please Remember Me' maintained its spot with 30,468 votes (15.4%), an increase from the previous month, while 3rd place went to Byeon Woo-seok's 'THE CHRISTMAS SONG' which secured 15,208 votes (7.7%). Following them, Son Tae-jin's 'Promise of Spring' (13,321 votes, 6.7%) ranked 4th, and Jang Min-ho's 'Good Times (好時節)' (13,157 votes, 6.6%) ranked 5th, forming the top tier.
The competition for the middle ranks was also fierce. Bin Ye-seo's 'First Story Memories' (7,503 votes, 3.8%) took 6th, and Min Soo-hyun's '空: [Emptiness]' (6,238 votes, 3.1%) took 7th. The pride of crossover, Liberante's 'BRILLANTE' (5,812 votes, 2.9%) ranked 8th, Enoch's 'Let's Go See the Flowers' (5,489 votes, 2.8%) ranked 9th, and Park Ji-hyun's 'MASTER VOICE' (5,319 votes, 2.7%) recorded a 10th place finish.
From 11th to 15th place, a tight race with narrow vote margins unfolded. Park Chang-geun's 'The Days I've Waited For' (4,496 votes, 2.3%) ranked 13th, Yang Ji-eun's 'Picnic' (3,729 votes, 1.9%) ranked 14th, and Kim Da-hyun's 'Black Swan' (3,249 votes, 1.6%) rose to 15th.
In the lower ranks, the fans' enthusiasm for voting continued until the very end.
