[May Netizens' Awards] Jung Seo-ju has set an unprecedented record of ranking 1st for 23 consecutive months in the Female Singer category. Following her 22 consecutive month winning streak last month, she broke her own record once again, firmly proving that it is the 'era of Jung Seo-ju'.
In this May's vote, Jung Seo-ju secured the top spot with a total of 31,783 votes, maintaining her position with an overwhelming majority vote rate of 50.4%. This means she has become the owner of the record, never giving up the 1st place spot even once over a period of about two years.
The competition among the top ranks chasing the leader was also fierce. Bin Ye-seo took 2nd place with 8,087 votes (12.8%), and Kim Da-hyun rose to 3rd with 4,780 votes (7.6%), settling in the top tier. Following them, Yang Ji-eun ranked 4th with 3,916 votes (6.2%), Song Ga-in 5th with 3,771 votes (6.0%), and Maijin 6th with 3,689 votes (5.8%), forming a solid mid-to-upper tier line.
The fans' passionate voting enthusiasm was also reflected in the mid-range ranking competition. Hongja rose to 9th place with 1,046 votes (1.7%), and Kim So-yeon recorded 902 votes (1.4%) to take the final spot in the top 10.
A fierce, neck-and-neck battle unfolded between 11th and 15th place in the middle of the rankings, where joy and sorrow were divided by mere dozens of votes. Jeon Yu-jin rose to 11th place with 518 votes (0.8%), and Miss Kim was ranked 12th with 512 votes (0.8%), just 6 votes behind Jeon Yu-jin. Following them, Kim Tae-yeon took 13th place with 472 votes (0.7%), Na-young settled at 14th with 414 votes (0.7%), and IU secured 15th place with 164 votes (0.3%).
