TV Chosun's 'Trot All-Star Match on Wednesday Night' firmly defended its top spot in the Cultural Award category of the Best Sector at the May Netizen Awards.

According to last month's voting results, 'Trot All-Star Match on Wednesday Night' secured a total of 30,172 votes (48.5%), defending its first-place throne. Following the milestone of winning for 12 consecutive months last month, it has now extended its record to 13 months. In particular, its support rate increased by 1.3 percentage points compared to the previous month, proving its immense popularity.

Trot content completely dominated the top ranks of the Cultural Award category. MBC Standard FM's 'Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio' secured 13,170 votes (21.2%) with the full support of its fandom, solidifying its second-place position. MBC ON's 'Trot Champion' also recorded 11,092 votes (17.8%), rising to third place. The combined share of the top three programs exceeded 87% of the total vote, demonstrating the overwhelming dominance of the trot genre.

Various programs consistently chosen by viewers made the mid-rank list. MBN's 'Earth Exploration Life' took fourth place with 3,761 votes (6.0%), and KBS2's 'Article 2, Section 1' settled in fifth place with 1,258 votes (2.0%). This was followed by KBS2's 'Immortal Songs' in sixth place with 957 votes (1.5%), MBN's 'Burning Roses' in seventh place with 898 votes (1.4%), and TV Chosun's 'Masterpiece Factory' defending its eighth-place spot with 693 votes (1.1%).

At the bottom of the rankings, fans' votes concentrated until the very last moment, ultimately completing the top 10 lineup. MBC's 'I Live Alone' received 194 votes (0.3%) to rank ninth, and TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 4' ultimately garnered 45 votes (0.1%), concluding the May voting race.
