Hyundai Motor Company, in collaboration with broadcaster Lee Kyung-kyu, will release the digital content 'Car-Camping Expedition Squad with Hyundai Motor Company' to cheer on the South Korean national football team's strong performance at the 'FIFA World Cup 2026™'.
The 'Car-Camping Expedition Squad' consists of a total of 11 members, including Lee Kyung-kyu as the expedition leader, retired football legends, youth football players, and customers selected through a test-drive event commemorating the FIFA World Cup 2026™. They plan to cheer for the national team's advancement to the tournament and showcase their journey through a video series capturing their passion for football and the vivid atmosphere on the ground.
This content was planned as part of the 'Next Starts Now' campaign launched by Hyundai Motor Company as an official World Cup partner. It captures not only the support for the national team but also the spirit of challenge and future vision shared with the team.
The first video of the 'Car-Camping Expedition Squad' series, which will be produced in a total of five episodes, will be released at 6:00 PM on the 1st. The first video centers on the launching process of the expedition squad, delivering the campaign message and expectations for the national team's performance. Subsequently, it plans to vividly convey the World Cup atmosphere, including the kickoff ceremony and match viewing. The series will be released sequentially on Lee Kyung-kyu's official YouTube channel, and short-form videos editing the key scenes will also be provided on Hyundai Motor Company's official YouTube channel.
In particular, an exclusive interview content with Son Heung-min, Hyundai Motor's global brand ambassador, is also scheduled to be unveiled. As the captain of the national team, Son Heung-min will directly share his resolve for the World Cup and deliver a message of support for the youth players.
