Park Min-sik urges swift investigation into Han Dong-hoon's pseudo-election office allegations...also refutes claims of sitting with Lee Myung-bak

Park Min-sik, the People Power Party candidate running in the by-election for the Busan Buk-gap parliamentary seat, stated on the 1st regarding allegations of independent candidate Han Dong-hoon operating a pseudo-election office, "Whether it is the National Election Commission or the police, they must swiftly and actively investigate the matter."

Candidate Park held a press conference at his election office that afternoon, stating, "I understand that several controversies have been raised surrounding Candidate Han, including the operation of a shelter and the mobilization of buses." He added, "It must be clearly stated whether the allegations are false or true." He continued, "Our working-level staff is also reviewing the matter," and added, "Although I have rarely filed complaints or charges during the election process, I believe it is necessary to respond firmly to this issue."

He also refuted posts published on social media by lawmakers affiliated with the pro-Han Dong-hoon faction regarding former President Lee Myung-bak's visit to Busan the previous day. Candidate Park explained, "The claim that I forced my way into joining the table at a restaurant without being invited by former President Lee is not true," adding, "Former President Lee personally proposed that I accompany him to a church service and the meal."

Candidate Park also criticized, "I feel on the ground that Candidate Han's approval ratings are inflated," adding, "They are trying to use Buk-gu in a wasteful manner for political purposes." He then announced that he would continue his campaign with a 100-hour overnight canvassing push for the remainder of the election period.
