[KM Chart June Monthly Chart Category Candidates Revealed]
The 'KM Chart' has revealed the candidates for a total of six categories for the June monthly chart, and voting will run until the upcoming 24th.
A total of 50 songs, including tracks by AKMU, BTS, aespa, QWER, ILLIT, Choi Yena, Hearts2Hearts, Lim Young-woong, and Lee Chan-won, have been nominated in the most fiercely competitive ▲ 'K-MUSIC (Digital Release)' category.
A total of 30 teams will compete in the ▲ 'K-MUSIC ARTIST' category, including DAY6, LE SSERAFIM, BTS, BOYNEXTDOOR, BLACKPINK, SHINee, Stray Kids, IVE, ATEEZ, EXO, NMIXX, ENHYPEN, Youngtak, Taeyang, PLAVE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and NCT WISH.
In the ▲ 'HOT CHOICE (Popularity)' category, 30 male teams and 30 female teams will face off. The male division includes TREASURE, Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, TWS, WOODZ, Jang Min-ho, N.Flying, and N.SIGN. The female division includes UAAO, LE SSERAFIM, MIAO, BABYMONSTER, VIVIZ, Billlie, I.O.I, KIKI, IZNA, QWER, aespa, LUCY, TWICE, and FIFTY FIFTY.
For the ▲ 'Rookie' category, 10 male teams and 10 female teams have been nominated. The male division includes Longshot, IDENTITY, IDIT, NDOUBL, AlphaDrive1, AMP, MBIG, QWER, Keep Up, and MODISAY. The female division includes Baby Dont Cry, III, STAYC, APUE FUTURE, At Heart, OWHIS, All Day Project, LATENCY, Unchild, and HADES. Notably, the co-ed group 'All Day Project,' whose members are more than half female, was classified in the female category.
[Voting and Final Results Calculation Method] Voting for this event can be participated in through the 'My1Pick' and 'Idol Champ' applications, with the results from both apps being combined, each accounting for 50%. The final results will be announced by comprehensively evaluating the vote tallies, the judges' panel evaluations, and objective metrics such as KM Chart data scores.
Meanwhile, 'KMA 2026', hosted by KM Chart and KM Chart World and organized by the KMA Organizing Committee and UPICK, is scheduled to be held at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul on July 25th.
