Dunamu Accelerates 'Trust Infrastructure' Buildout... Upbit Investor Protection Center and Daily Wrap-Up to Counter Fake News

As awareness of fake news and misinformation grows in the domestic digital asset market, the importance of investor education is being increasingly highlighted. Against this backdrop, Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, is drawing attention for moving beyond simple transaction intermediation to build a "trust infrastructure" aimed at investor protection and the dissemination of accurate knowledge.

December 2021: Launch of the Upbit Investor Protection Center

To foster a healthy digital asset investment culture, Dunamu launched the "Upbit Investor Protection Center" in December 2021. The center has served as a reliable pillar for investors by providing education on preventing digital asset-related fraud, offering psychological counseling support, distributing research reports that break down complex blockchain technologies and global regulatory trends into easy-to-understand language, and supplying educational materials to address information asymmetry.

'Daily Wrap-Up' Surpasses 130,000 Followers

"Daily WRAP UP," a daily program featured on Upbit's official YouTube channel, is receiving an enthusiastic response from investors. Premiering on May 26 of this year, the program saw a surge in subscribers after its launch and recently surpassed 130,000 followers. This demonstrates that rather than being swayed by sensational price predictions, investors are actively practicing "informed investing" through the expert knowledge and commentary provided by Upbit.

Running as a long-term project until October, season one of Daily Wrap-Up airs five days a week, from Monday to Friday. It is strictly focused on cultivating investors' analytical judgment. To provide a balanced perspective for investors struggling to make decisions amid an overwhelming amount of information, the program is structured into two chapters. Chapter 1 reviews the day's market conditions and key economic indicators, while Chapter 2 features an expert talk show sharing future market outlooks.

Large-Scale Participation from Industry and Academic Experts

To bridge the information gap in the future financial market, a stellar lineup of cast members has joined this content. Prominent economic creators who cater to the general public's level of understanding, such as Kim Jak-ga and Buiknam, as well as experts spanning both industry and academia—including Professor Park Jung-ho, AI economist Professor Kim Sang-yoon, and Kim Kyu-jin, CEO of Tiger Research—have participated in large numbers. They go beyond simple market analysis to examine the essence of technology and global regulatory trends from multiple angles.

A Dunamu official stated, "Starting with Daily Wrap-Up, we plan to introduce planning across a wider range of categories, taking the lead in fostering a healthy digital asset investment culture."
