The group ALPHA DRIVE ONE is making a notable presence in Japan.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE ranked 13th on the combined album ranking of the 'Oricon First Half Ranking 2026' announced by Japan's Oricon, with their debut album and first mini-album 'EUPHORIA.' This marks the highest ranking and the only chart entry among K-POP rookie groups that debuted this year, drawing particular attention as it is an achievement secured before their official Japanese debut.
In Korea as well, ALPHA DRIVE ONE surpassed 1.44 million copies in first-week sales of their debut album, ranking second in all-time first-week sales for a K-POP group's debut album. In Japan, the album entered the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking at No. 3 immediately after its release, while the title track 'FREAK ALARM' and pre-release track 'FORMULA' ranked high on major music platforms.
The prologue single 'No School Tomorrow,' released last May, also swept No. 1 on major Japanese charts such as Recochoku and Mora. The title track 'OMG!' topped the LINE MUSIC and Japan iTunes charts, continuing an unrivaled upward trend in the local market.
Riding on this popularity, ALPHA DRIVE ONE has been receiving love calls across various fields, including invitations to large-scale festivals such as Tokyo Girls Collection and gracing the covers of local fashion magazines.
Meanwhile, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is currently holding a fan con tour from the 26th to the 28th at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, completely selling out all 25,000 seats across three performances and proving the enthusiastic interest of local fans.
