Actor Heo Sung-tae shared heartfelt final thoughts as MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Oh Ship Fro' came to a close.

In the final episodes of 'Oh Ship Fro,' which aired on June 26 and 27, Heo Sung-tae's character Kang Beom-ryong joined forces with his comrades to launch a major counterattack against a great evil, highlighting the climax of the series.

'Oh Ship Fro' is an action comedy that depicts the story of three men set in motion again by fate. Heo Sung-tae played the role of Kang Beom-ryong, a convenience store owner and former second-in-command of the Hwasan faction, simultaneously exuding charisma and humanity while proving his presence with each passing episode.

In the final episode, Kang Beom-ryong cooperated with Jung Ho-myeong, Bong Jae-soon, and Ma Gong-bok, securing a crucial item after intense action sequences and turning the tide. In particular, he played a decisive role in luring the Hwang Hwasan gang into a trap, ultimately keeping his loyalty to his comrades until the very end.

Heo Sung-tae is praised for significantly elevating the immersion of the series by seamlessly navigating between gritty action, lighthearted comedy, and deep emotional acting.

In his remarks delivered through his agency, he said, "I hope viewers felt a sense of satisfaction during the final cooperative action scene," adding words of gratitude to his fellow cast members and director Han Dong-hwa. He continued, "I will keep running hard for the rest of my life," adding a heartfelt confession to the audience.

Having earned yet another signature character through this work, Heo Sung-tae plans to continue his active acting career across various projects in the future.
