Singer Kim Phil has unveiled a live cover video reinterpreting the late Yoo Jae-ha's masterpiece "Hidden Road" with his own signature sensibility.
On the 29th, Kim Phil released the fifth video of his live cover content series "FEEL-soo-LIVE" through his official YouTube channel. In this video, he captured the 1980s Korean pop music classic "Hidden Road" with his characteristic vocal tone.
In the video, Kim Phil layered his deeply appealing voice and delicate expressiveness over a clean guitar arrangement, further heightening the song's immersion. While preserving the poignant melancholy of the original, he added his own profound interpretation to deliver a fresh emotional impact.
"FEEL-soo-LIVE" is a regular live content series designed to showcase Kim Phil's voice and true musical worth. Starting with Lee So-ra's "Trivial Stories" in February, followed by Sting's "My One And Only Love," Jiteun's "By My Side," and John McLaughlin's "Indiana," the series has successively reinterpreted masterpieces spanning different eras and genres each month, now culminating with Yoo Jae-ha's "Hidden Road."
This content, which adds Kim Phil's own deep interpretation to the emotion of the original songs, demonstrates vocalist Kim Phil's broad musical spectrum and is receiving an enthusiastic response from music fans.
Moving forward, Kim Phil plans to continue his musical communication with listeners by sequentially releasing new cover videos through his official YouTube channel every month.
