The general subscription for the public offering of Remedi concluded around 4 p.m. on the 2nd.

A total of 316,557 applications were received during this subscription, which ran from the 1st to the 2nd with KB Securities as the lead underwriter. The equal allocation of shares was calculated at 0.47 shares. This means that based on the minimum subscription criteria, not even one out of every two subscribers can expect to receive a full share. The proportional competition rate recorded 3,412.42 to 1, with more than 5 trillion won in deposits flooding in, reflecting a high level of interest.

Meanwhile, the recent public offering market shows that it is difficult to definitively conclude that the first day of listing will always yield strong performance. In fact, one recently listed public offering saw its opening price set 8.17% below its offering price. This is a time when both unconditional optimism and pessimism should be avoided.
