TV Chosun's 'Trot All-Star Match on Wednesday Night' has once again taken first place in the Culture/Current Affairs category of the Netizens Awards' Best division. According to the June voting results, 'Trot All-Star Match on Wednesday Night' secured a total of 25,383 votes, defending the top spot with a 43.0% share. Following its record of 13 consecutive months of victory in May, the program renewed the milestone to 14 months just one month later, proving its unrivaled popularity.

In this vote, trot-based content swept the top ranks, confirming the genre's formidable dominance. Bolstered by the support of an enthusiastic fandom, MBC Standard FM's 'Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio' secured second place with 13,764 votes (23.3%). MBC ON's 'Trot Champion' also benefited from fans' steady support, earning 11,729 votes (19.9%) to claim third place. The combined share of the top three programs exceeded 86% of the total votes cast.

In the middle and lower ranks as well, a diverse array of programs competed fiercely, rounding out the rankings. The rankings and vote counts for positions 4 through 10 in the June Culture/Current Affairs category vote are as follows.

4th: MBN 'Earth Exploration Life' (3,623 votes, 6.1%) • 5th: KBS2 'Chapter 2, Verse 1' (1,343 votes, 2.3%) • 6th: KBS2 'Immortal Songs' (1,222 votes, 2.1%) • 7th: MBN 'Burning Rose Squadron' (977 votes, 1.7%) • 8th: TV Chosun 'Masterpiece Studio' (716 votes, 1.2%) • 9th: MBC 'I Live Alone' (226 votes, 0.4%) • 10th: MBN 'Active King of Singers 3' (10 votes, new entry this month)

Attention is now focused on whether 'Trot All-Star Match on Wednesday Night' will continue its overwhelming momentum in next month's July voting race, or whether a new challenger will emerge to halt its streak.
