In the morning session on the 6th, major domestic shipbuilding stocks are simultaneously showing strength, drawing investors' attention. In particular, Hanwha Ocean is exhibiting a steep upward trend, playing a solid role as a leading stock.

As of 10:19 a.m. on the 6th, the market prices of major shipbuilding stocks are as follows:

• Hanwha Ocean: Traded at 116,400 won, surging 8.89% (9,500 won) from the previous trading day (the largest gain among major shipbuilding stocks) • HD Hyundai Heavy Industries: Up 1.73% (10,000 won) to 587,000 won • HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering: Up 1.25% (4,500 won) to 364,000 won • Samsung Heavy Industries: Up 1.70% (400 won) to 23,900 won • HJ Heavy Industries: Up 0.51% (100 won) to 19,650 won

On the other hand, Daehan Shipbuilding recorded 51,800 won, down 0.96% (500 won), marking the only stock to show weakness.

While it is necessary to monitor the intraday supply and demand of these shipbuilding stocks and the future industry trends, the most critical issue to emerge in the market is that the announcement of the Canadian submarine order is imminent. In this order competition, Hanwha Ocean is fiercely competing against Germany's ThyssenKrupp (TKMS).

Looking at the broader stock market at the same time, the KOSPI is trading above the 8,180 level, up more than 1% from the previous day. Meanwhile, the KOSDAQ remained at the 847 level, down about 2%.
