Neon announced on the 6th that its board of directors approved a paid-in capital increase through a third-party allotment.
This capital increase will be directed at KPM Tech, the company's largest shareholder. The new shares to be issued total 9,187,620 common shares at an issue price of 2,068 won per share. The total amount of funds to be raised accordingly is 18,999,988,160 won.
The payment date is July 14, 2026, and the new shares are scheduled to be listed on July 28. The newly issued shares will be placed under lock-up for one year from the date of share certificate delivery.
Of the raised funds, 1,499,998,160 won will be used as operating capital, including for the purchase of raw materials. The remaining 17.5 billion won will be allocated toward the acquisition of securities of another corporation. The company stated that it plans to acquire securities from '(Co.) GSP and one other individual,' adding that the specific acquisition price has not yet been determined.
Regarding the rationale for selecting the third-party allotment recipient, the company explained, "The board of directors made the selection after considering the investor's intentions, payment capacity, and timing in order to achieve the company's management objectives and ensure prompt fundraising."
