Magician Lee Eun-gyeol will present a special performance, 'ONE OF ONE,' at the Grand Theater of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts this coming August to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his debut. This stage serves as a meaningful occasion to reflect on his 30-year artistic career and present a new direction for his performances.

On the SBS PowerFM show 'Bae Sung-jae's Ten' on the 8th, Lee Eun-gyeol redefined himself not simply as a magician but as an 'illusionist' and 'imagination director.' He stated that he has pursued expressions that stimulate audiences' emotions and are felt with the heart, going beyond magic being evaluated solely for its 'novelty,' and emphasized emotion and lingering impressions over technical tricks.

Lee Eun-gyeol said, 'If a magician is someone who constructs a framework of the impossible, breaks it, and then poses as a great person, I want to be an illusionist who stimulates the audience's imagination.'

This performance holds special meaning for Lee Eun-gyeol. Having performed at all major domestic venues, including the National Theater of Korea, the Seoul Arts Center, and the LG Arts Center, he will complete the 'Grand Slam' of South Korea's performing arts scene through this stage at the Sejong Center. He shared his thoughts, saying, 'When I held my first magic concert in 2003, one of my dreams was to stand on the stage of the Sejong Center someday,' and 'It has taken 30 years to finally fulfill that dream. I am preparing a performance that will showcase the essence of the illusion genre.'

He also highlighted the unique value of offline performances in an era of highly advanced technology such as AI. He said, 'The important thing about cultural life is that when you spend money and buy something, the story ends there, but when you watch a performance together, that's when the conversation begins.' He expressed his hope that this performance would serve as an opportunity for audiences to share conversations with their loved ones.

Meanwhile, 'ONE OF ONE,' prepared as a large-scale production, has been enhanced in collaboration with technical crew from Las Vegas, USA. It will meet audiences at the Grand Theater of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts for two weeks from August 22 to September 6.
