The Han River Flood Control Office announced via a safety alert message that it issued a flood advisory for the Dorimcheon Sindaebang 1 Bridge area in Seoul at 12:10 p.m. on the 9th.

In the safety alert, the office stated, "A flood advisory was issued at 12:10 p.m. today for the Dorimcheon Seoul (Sindaebang 1 Bridge) area," and urged citizens to "prepare for potential damage and check your current location and areas at risk of flooding."

Accordingly, citizens in low-lying areas, riverbanks, and flood-prone zones near Dorimcheon should frequently monitor weather conditions and guidance from relevant agencies and exercise caution. In particular, the following safety guidelines are advised:

• Avoid approaching riverside walking paths and open spaces along the river, as access may be restricted when water levels rise. • Vehicles should immediately move to safe locations, avoiding low-lying areas at risk of flooding.

The office emphasized that citizens should continue to stay informed of future weather and disaster updates and remain prepared for safety incidents.
