BL Pharmtech is further strengthening its cooperative relationship with health functional food manufacturer Kwangdong Health Bio by acquiring additional shares.

According to a regulatory filing on the 13th, BL Pharmtech resolved through a board meeting to acquire 727,272 common shares of Kwangdong Health Bio for KRW 10,472,716,800 in cash. This acquisition amount represents 10.55% of BL Pharmtech's equity capital (KRW 9,927,377,255) and 5.76% of its total assets as of the end of the most recent fiscal year. The scheduled acquisition date is July 13, 2026.

Once the transaction is completed, BL Pharmtech's total holdings in Kwangdong Health Bio will increase to 1,070,958 shares, expanding its stake to 13.96%. Regarding the purpose of the acquisition, BL Pharmtech stated that it aims "to strengthen business cooperation between the two companies, including the launch of new products, through the acquisition of additional shares."

Kwangdong Health Bio, which operates a health functional food manufacturing business, reported total assets of KRW 62.206 billion and total equity of KRW 18.289 billion as of the end of 2025. During the same period, the company recorded revenue of KRW 66.98 billion but posted a net loss of KRW 640 million.

Meanwhile, the counterparty in this share acquisition transaction is the 'Magna ABC Fund.' According to the filing, there is no special relationship between the two parties, and no transaction history has been recorded over the past three years.
