In the stock market on the 14th, Doosan Enerbility (034020) shook off an intraday plunge and rebounded to defend the 70,000-won level, the so-called '70,000-bility.' On the same day, the domestic stock market showed a mixed performance with diverging fortunes for the KOSPI and KOSDAQ after successfully rebounding from an intraday plunge.

According to KRX statistics, Doosan Enerbility closed at 70,900 won, down 2,300 won (3.14%) from the previous trading day. At one point during the session, the stock dropped to 68,200 won, raising concerns about the collapse of '70,000-bility,' but as time passed, buying interest flowed in, and the closing price successfully defended the 70,000-won level.

Overall market volatility was also high. The KOSPI was pushed down to the 2,650 level early in the session due to shrinking investor sentiment but managed to rebound. It ultimately closed at 2,6856.83, up 49.9 points (0.73%) from the previous trading day, turning upward.

On the other hand, the KOSDAQ failed to join the rebound. The bearish trend was prominent, with a sell-side sidecar circuit breaker triggered during the session, and the KOSDAQ index closed at 783.98, down 15.38 points (1.92%) from the previous trading day.

A key feature of the market that day was that Doosan Enerbility reduced its losses in tandem with the KOSPI's rebound trend and successfully defended the 70,000-won level. In the market, some analysts say that caution persists regarding external variables such as recent geopolitical risks in the Middle East, and that the future direction of the domestic stock market and major nuclear power stocks should be closely monitored.
