JYP Entertainment's global girl group GIRLSET is making a comeback with a new single. Comprising four members — Lexy, Camila, Kendall, and Savannah — GIRLSET will simultaneously release their new single 'CHAT' and its title track of the same name worldwide on July 17 at 1 p.m.

Ahead of this comeback, GIRLSET will also make their first appearance on Korean music broadcasts. Starting with KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 17th, followed by MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 18th, and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 19th, this marks the first time the group will take the stage on a Korean music program under the name GIRLSET. They plan to kick off their full-scale promotions with groovy performances.

■ Hyper-Pop New Track 'CHAT' Features World-Class Producers

The title track 'CHAT' is a hyper-pop genre that blends intense rhythms with deep sounds. The production team The Stereotypes, who worked on Bruno Mars' 'That's What I Like' and '24K Magic,' handled the production, while August Rigo, who created Justin Bieber's 'U Smile' and BTS' 'ON,' participated in the song's production to enhance its quality. The music video, featuring hip-hop-based performances and dazzling visuals, is expected to open a new chapter for the group.

■ Growth Proven by Global Chart Performance

GIRLSET has already demonstrated rapid growth in the North American and global markets through their previous activities. 'Tweak,' released in March of this year, recorded approximately 640,000 streams on Spotify on its first day, with over 270,000 plays coming from the United States alone, showing a growth rate of more than double compared to their previous release 'Little Miss.' On Apple Music, it was also streamed over 180,000 times on the day of release, with approximately 130,000 of those streams coming from the U.S., proving the high level of local interest.

The music video also stood out on global charts. The video, highlighting the members' mystical atmosphere and captivating choreography, reached No. 1 on YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide, No. 5 on U.S. YouTube Trending Music, and entered the Top 10 of U.S. Daily Popular Music Videos.

■ Seoul → New York → Los Angeles: Global Promotion Campaign

GIRLSET, who has been expanding their presence primarily in the Americas, will accelerate their global activities with this comeback. Starting promotions in Seoul from the 17th to the 19th, they plan to tour major domestic and international cities to promote their new track, including New York on the 24th–25th, Chicago on the 26th, Atlanta on the 28th, Dallas on the 29th, and Los Angeles on the 20th and 30th.

Following this single promotion, GIRLSET plans to release additional new albums in the future, continuing their momentum as a global powerhouse girl group.
