HLB group stocks recorded mixed movements by issue during the regular trading session on the 21st. Amid continued large-scale fluctuations recently, profit-taking sell-offs and varying supply-demand conditions across stocks intersected, resulting in divergent performances.

HLB closed at 30,800 won in the NXT market, up 0.8% from the previous trading day. In the regular session, the stock reversed into positive territory after falling 0.49%. HLB Pharmaceutical maintained strength, rising 6.6% to 8,600 won, while HLB Biostep held firm in slightly positive territory, inching up 0.1% to 1,892 won.

On the other hand, a significant number of stocks also declined. HLB Life Sciences fell 2.8% to 2,045 won, and HLB Innovation dropped 7.2% to 8,750 won, posting the steepest decline among the group stocks. HLB Global (-0.1%), HLB Genex (-4.3%), HLB Panagen (-0.3%), HLB Peptide (-4.6%), and HLB Therapeutics (-1.5%) also all succumbed to weakness.

The mixed performances within the group are attributed to differentiated investor sentiment toward individual stocks. The market is closely watching whether HLB and other group stocks will regain their direction in the trading session on the 22nd. With the broader biotech sector exhibiting high volatility recently, supply-demand trends and the direction of the domestic stock market are cited as key variables. In particular, attention is focused on how long the trend of stock differentiation will persist.
