Singer and actor Lee Jun-young will begin his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier in the Republic of Korea Army on July 21, 2026. He is scheduled to enter the training center privately without any official events.

Ahead of his enlistment, Lee Jun-young personally shared the news with fans through a handwritten letter. Through his agency Billions, he left a message saying, "I will serve in good health and return. See you the winter after next! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year x2 in advance."
