On the 21st, NouerA released a music video teaser for their fourth mini album and its title track of the same name, '.exe', through their official social media channels. The teaser video begins with a program installation screen and transitions into an unknown space, hinting at an independent universe. This is followed by a distinctive atmosphere created through the destruction of an hourglass and direction that crosses between reality and the game world. A system error message that appears in the latter half of the video further heightens anticipation for the main release.

The new album '.exe' is themed around a confession strategy of moving forward without hesitation toward someone you like. It intriguingly expresses the determination to cross dimensional boundaries for the sake of the other person by comparing it to '.exe', a computer executable file extension. This new release comes about four months after their previous album 'POP IT LIKE,' drawing high expectations from fans.
