SK Square has decided to burn treasury shares worth approximately 43 billion won to enhance shareholder value.

SK Square announced through a regulatory filing that it resolved, via a board of directors' resolution on the 22nd, to incinerate 34,388 common shares. The incineration is scheduled to be completed by July 31, 2026.

The shares to be burned this time are treasury shares that the company had already acquired. The total amount scheduled for incineration is 43,088,164,000 won, calculated based on the closing price on the day prior to the board resolution date. SK Square explained that it had previously passed a resolution to acquire these treasury shares at a board meeting on March 25, 2026, and has successfully completed the acquisition.

As a result of this treasury share incineration, the company's total number of issued shares will decrease from the existing 131,958,386 shares. However, since the shares are being burned from those acquired within the range of distributable profits, the company's capital will not decrease.

Meanwhile, the company added that this filing pertains to the incineration of previously acquired treasury shares and serves as a substitute for a separate filing on the disposal of treasury shares.
