ENA and Larva Studios have released the main teaser ahead of the premiere of the sales commerce national competition 'X The League' (hereafter XTL), scheduled for August 2 at 7:50 p.m.
In this program, a total of 40 global sellers from 8 teams across 9 countries compete for a $500,000 prize and the title of 'Global No.1 Seller' awarded to the winning team. The combined number of subscribers of all participants exceeds 360 million, and 200 brands participate in a fierce battle to achieve sales targets.
Girls' Generation's Tiffany Young and GOT7's BamBam will serve as MCs. Tiffany Young will leverage her experience in entertainment shows and award ceremonies to drive the program's global expansion, while BamBam will take on multiple roles, also serving as the owner of the Thailand team.
The high-profile lineups of each country's team are also drawing attention. For the Korean team, Noh Hee-young serves as team owner and Gi Eun-se as team captain. They are joined by beauty artist Sang Eun-onni, practical-item appraiser Kkak-unni, and fashion expert Kkang Stylist, demonstrating a strong determination to win. Meanwhile, Francesca Farago joins the U.S. team, and Jian Hao Tan competes for the Singapore and Malaysia team.
In the released teaser video, Gi Eun-se highlighted the changes in the global commerce market, stating, 'With a single click, a product from the other side of the world lands in my hands,' while Noh Hee-young expressed her resolve, saying, 'The goal is to win.' Participants identified the Chinese team, with its large population, as a primary rival, but also showed confidence, stating that there is no team they fear.
The production team stated, 'We will vividly showcase the fierce competition, selling strategies, and behind-the-scenes stories of the influencers,' and added, 'Please pay attention to the growth and authenticity of the participants over the 100-day journey.'
