Samsung Heavy Industries disclosed its preliminary consolidated financial results for the second quarter of 2026, demonstrating significant performance improvement.

According to the disclosure, Q2 revenue reached KRW 3.2307 trillion, up 20.4% from the same period last year (KRW 2.683 trillion) and up 11.3% from the previous quarter (KRW 2.9023 trillion).

In particular, Q2 operating profit surged 58.7% year-on-year to KRW 325 billion, compared to KRW 204.8 billion in the same period last year. It also rose 19.0% from the previous quarter (KRW 273.1 billion).

[Q2 Key Performance Summary] • Profit Before Income Tax from Continuing Operations: KRW 300 billion (up 131.5% QoQ, up 39.9% YoY) • Net Income: KRW 222.8 billion (up 122.6% QoQ, up 4.9% YoY) • Net Income Attributable to Owners of the Parent Company: KRW 224.3 billion (up 120.8% QoQ, up 4.8% YoY)

On a cumulative first-half basis, the company recorded revenue of KRW 6.133 trillion and operating profit of KRW 598.1 billion. These figures represent increases of 18.5% and 82.4%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, profit before income tax from continuing operations reached KRW 429.6 billion (up 40.7%), net income amounted to KRW 322.9 billion (up 6.7%), and net income attributable to owners of the parent company totaled KRW 325.9 billion (up 6.4%).

The performance figures announced this time are preliminary consolidated figures based on the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and may be subject to partial change during the future accounting review process, as the external auditor's audit has not yet been completed.
