■ Easing of U.S.-Iran Tensions Emerges as Key Variable in Financial Markets Meanwhile, the possibility of easing tensions between the United States and Iran has emerged as a major focus in international financial markets. U.S. President Donald Trump recently decided to hold off on a military response against Iran for the time being, shifting his weight toward a diplomatic solution.

The U.S. government explained that consultations are underway through various channels, ranging from working-level officials to senior leadership, and the Iranian side also stated that it has halted retaliatory military actions since the cessation of U.S. airstrikes.

However, there are assessments that it remains uncertain whether the current phase of dialogue will lead to a full-scale improvement in relations or an end to the conflict. While there is a possibility that tensions could ease further depending on the progress of negotiations, there are also observations that the possibility of both sides raising the level of military pressure again and intensifying the conflict cannot be ruled out.

The market is closely watching how the future direction of Middle East dynamics will affect international gold prices, commodity prices, and global financial market volatility.
