On the 28th, Doosan Enerbility (034020) fell back below the '70,000 Enerbility' level, impacted by a sharp decline in the domestic stock market.

According to the Korea Exchange, Doosan Enerbility closed the regular trading session at 64,700 won, down 6,200 won (8.74%) from the previous trading day. Selling pressure intensified during the session, pushing the stock below the 70,000-won threshold.

On the same day, the KOSPI also closed at 6,023.66, plunging 732.09 points (10.84%) from the previous session, significantly dampening investor sentiment. In particular, the market exhibited extreme volatility as a 'sidecar,' which temporarily suspends the effectiveness of program sell orders, and a 'Stage 1 circuit breaker,' which halts all trading market-wide, were triggered in succession.

As risk-aversion sentiment spread across the broader market, nuclear power-related stocks also uniformly failed to escape weakness. Profit-taking and selling volumes poured into nuclear stocks, including Doosan Enerbility, Woorigisul, Orbitech, and Wujin Entech, subjecting the entire sector to downward pressure.

The market forecasts that the future stock price trends of nuclear power stocks will be influenced by whether domestic market volatility eases, the recovery of investor sentiment toward global risk assets, and changes in supply and demand.
