Singer and actor Kim Jae-joong is returning to his fans in Korea after approximately one year and three months. Ahead of the title track 'THE WAVE' from his new single album, Kim Jae-joong surprised fans by releasing a teaser video via his official social media at midnight on the 3rd, announcing his comeback schedule.
This single marks his first new release in Korea since his mini album 'Beauty in Chaos' released in May of last year, and the title track 'THE WAVE' will be fully unveiled on online music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 20th.
In the released teaser video, Kim Jae-joong appears standing alone at the edge of a hill against the backdrop of a blue sea, facing the wind. Though brief, the clip effectively conveys a sense of freedom and freshness, heightening anticipation.
Following the release of the new song, Kim Jae-joong will hold a solo concert under the same name as the single, 'THE WAVE,' on the 29th and 30th at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Fans are showing keen interest in whether the new track's first live performance will take place on this stage.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae-joong successfully wrapped up his fan concert tour and ZEPP & HALL tour earlier this year, and recently expanded his scope of activities by releasing the Japanese digital single 'OASIS.' He also proved his presence on the big screen by taking on the lead role in the film 'The Gentleman: Whisper of the Evil Spirit.'
Additional teaser content related to 'THE WAVE' will be released sequentially in the future.
