Hanwha Solutions is showing a double-digit surge, recovering the psychologically important 30,000-won level even as a volatility trading curb (VI) was triggered early in the session.

As of 9:24 a.m. on the 5th, Hanwha Solutions is trading at 30,400 won in the KOSPI market, up 3,600 won (13.43%) from the previous trading day.

According to the Korea Exchange, Hanwha Solutions' VI was triggered in the regular market at 9:18:53 a.m. and lifted at 9:21:19 a.m. Even after the VI activation, strong buying pressure continued, and the stock price firmly surpassed the 30,000-won level.

At the same time, the broader domestic stock market is also continuing its overall upward trend. KOSPI rose 289.61 points (4.55%) from the previous trading day to 6,648.56, and KOSDAQ also gained 18.56 points (2.37%) to trade at 799.28, with both major indices showing a coordinated upward trend.

Recently, eco-friendly and energy-related sectors have been affected by the market amid international oil price trends and other factors. Market attention is focused on how future improvements in investment sentiment and a broader preference for risk assets in the stock market will positively impact Hanwha Solutions' share price.

However, some analysts also note that given the sharp surge early in the session, it is necessary to continuously monitor changes in supply and demand as well as market volatility following the lifting of the VI.
