KBI Metal is drawing market attention as it maintains a sharp upward trend even after the Volatility Interruption (VI) was triggered during the trading session.

As of 1:11 p.m. on the 5th, KBI Metal is trading at 4,840 won, up 1,005 won (26.21%) from the previous trading day. A static VI was triggered at 12:48:09 p.m. and lifted at 12:50:35 p.m., but the upward momentum was not broken. Even after the VI was lifted, the stock continues to hover above the 4,800-won level, showing strong momentum.

At the same time, the broader domestic stock market is also showing strength. KOSPI rose 278.56 points (4.38%) to reach 6,637.51, and KOSDAQ also climbed 19.56 points (2.50%) to 800.28, reflecting a joint upward trend.

KBI Metal surged sharply as buying pressure concentrated in tandem with improved investor sentiment across the broader market. The market is closely watching whether the strong volume-backed upward trend will continue or whether volatility will expand following the short-term surge.
