The most notable change is in Kim Moo-jin (played by Ha Seok-jin). He has transformed into the owner-chef of an Italian restaurant, showcasing a cynical charm. Having lost faith in love, he has established an unusual rule at his restaurant: 'No couples allowed.' In particular, his wounds are so deep that he reacts coldly at even the mere mention of the name of his former lover, Han Gyu-rim (played by Ahn Hee-yeon). Moo-jin continues to run the restaurant alongside Park Jung-woo (played by Min Jin-woong) and Jang Seo-hyun (played by Lee Joo-yeon).
Meanwhile, Han Gyu-rim works at Park Soo-nam's (played by Kang Ae-sim) side dish shop, living a modest life with her eight-year-old son Han-gyeol (played by Yoon Ha-bin). Despite having grown into a strong mother, she has not been able to completely shake off the memories of her past with Kim Moo-jin. Her son Han-gyeol brings laughter to the family by boldly nagging his aunt Han Gyu-young (played by Park Yoo-na) and uncle Han Gyu-oh (played by Bae Yoon-gyu).
Han Gyu-rim's family members have also each undergone their own changes. Han Gyu-young, currently working as a paid doctor at a dermatology clinic, receives a diamond ring from her boyfriend Kang Sung-wook (played by Go Yoon), displaying a sweet romance. Meanwhile, the conflict between the siblings has deepened due to Han Gyu-oh's changes. Amidst all this, the twins Han Gyu-seo (played by Park Soo-oh) and Han Gyu-min (played by Kim Min-seo) have grown up quickly, keeping the family lively.
