Artists under HYBE have been prominently featured in the '2026 Young Hollywood Impact Report' published by the U.S. entertainment media outlet Variety, proving their global influence. The list selects musicians, actors, creators, and other talents aged 18 to 28 who will lead the future of the entertainment industry, and includes LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin, global girl group KATSEYE, and boy group CORTIS.
The key artists selected by Variety and their achievements are as follows.
CORTIS Variety evaluated CORTIS, a five-member rookie group introduced by BIGHIT MUSIC following BTS, as hip-hop artists with a pop-punk sensibility that breaks away from conventional molds. Since releasing their first EP in September of last year, the group entered the Billboard 200 at No. 15, driven by the popularity of 'What You Want' and 'FaSHioN,' setting the second-highest record for a K-pop group's debut album. Additionally, with their second mini album 'GREENGREEN' released in May of this year, they climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and their first tour currently underway across nine cities worldwide is also recording sold-out shows, continuing their upward trajectory. The members expressed their determination to continue growing while maintaining the team's authentic identity.
KATSEYE KATSEYE, a global girl group born through a collaboration between HYBE and Universal Music's Geffen Records, was introduced as one of the most outstanding girl groups in contemporary popular music. The group performed on the nominee stage for 'Best New Artist' at the 68th Grammy Awards with their 2025 release 'Gnarly,' and in April, they took the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, showcasing their live performance and making their mark on the world stage. The members expressed their emotion at being able to stand on the very stages they had dreamed of since childhood. On August 12, their documentary 'KATSEYE: Wild Heights' is scheduled for theatrical release, with the release of their third EP 'WILD' and a fall world tour also planned.
LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin Huh Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM was evaluated not just as a member of the group but as a songwriter and creative driving force leading the team's direction since taking on the challenge of K-pop at the age of 16. Huh Yunjin demonstrated her musical capabilities by directly participating in eight of the eleven tracks on the group's second full-length album 'PUREFLOW pt. 1,' released in May of this year. She cited standing on the MTV VMA stage as the highlight of her career and expressed her conviction to continue preserving the essence that defines LE SSERAFIM.
Actress Haerin Meanwhile, Korean-Australian actress Haerin (the maternal granddaughter of actress Son Sook), who plays the role of Sophie Baek in the popular Netflix series 'Bridgerton 4,' was also selected as a next-generation leader. Haerin, who delivered a multidimensional portrayal of Sophie—a character who overcomes the limits of her social status and lives an independent life—is currently filming 'Bridgerton 5.' She expressed her desire to take on projects that explore even the darker aspects of human life in the future.
Based on its independent multi-label system, HYBE continues to produce a diverse range of artists, and its roster of artists is exerting influence on a global scale.
