■ U.S. Employment Data Released... Market Eyes Key Economic Indicators

The U.S. unemployment rate for July, announced on August 7 (Korean time), was recorded at 4.1%. Non-farm sector employment decreased by 23,000 compared to the previous month. The employment data is considered one of the key indicators for gauging the future monetary policy direction of the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed).

The market is focusing on employment market trends as well as upcoming major economic indicators, including the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producer Price Index (PPI), and retail sales. Depending on the results of these indicators, expectations for interest rate cuts, the value of the dollar, and movements in U.S. Treasury yields could shift, which in turn may influence the direction of international gold prices.

Investors are monitoring not only short-term price movements but also upcoming economic indicator releases and statements from Federal Reserve (Fed) officials.
