The extended cut of director Park Chan-wook's film 'Amenesa: Unstoppable' will be released on Netflix on the 27th.

After its domestic theatrical release last September, the film was made available across various platforms including IPTV, digital cable TV, and online and mobile VOD. Now it returns as an extended cut with a 157-minute runtime, 19 minutes longer than the original theatrical version. According to CJ ENM, the extended cut will be newly added to Netflix, while the existing theatrical release will remain available for streaming. The extended cut features significantly enhanced scenes that more closely examine the relationships and emotional shifts between characters. Scenes have been added that provide a deeper look into the daily lives of Mansu (Lee Byung-hun), Miri (Son Ye-jin), and their daughter Ri-won (Choi So-yul), as well as the mother-daughter relationship. Netflix has been rolling out a variety of new titles throughout August. 'Edge of Tomorrow' was added on the 6th, followed by 'The Last House' and five films from the 'Mission: Impossible' series on the 7th. Subsequent releases include 'The Brutalist,' 'What a Girl Wants,' and 'Suicide Squad' on the 12th; 'A.I.' on the 14th; and the first and second installments of 'The Pink Panther' on the 21st. The extended cut of 'Amenesa: Unstoppable' arrives on the 27th, with 'The Magnificent Seven' following on the 28th.
