U.S. Economic Data Releases as a Key Variable for the Domestic Stock Market

Key economic indicators from the United States are expected to serve as critical variables for the domestic stock market this week. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the July Consumer Price Index (CPI) is scheduled for release on the 12th and the Producer Price Index (PPI) on the 13th (Korean time). Additionally, U.S. July retail sales data will be released on the 14th.

Inflation indicators are drawing keen attention from investors, as they could influence market expectations regarding the future monetary policy path of the U.S. Federal Reserve. Furthermore, since the retail sales data will simultaneously provide insight into U.S. consumption trends, the results could affect investor sentiment in not only the U.S. stock market but also the domestic market.
