Channel A's 'Detectives' Trade Secrets' reveals the turbulent story of a philosophy professor husband who condoned his wife's infidelity.

In this episode's 'Case Notebook' segment, a case reported by a mother-in-law who suspected her daughter-in-law of having an affair is featured. The mother-in-law spotted an unfamiliar man in front of the newlywed couple's home and concluded that he was having an affair with her daughter-in-law. However, the daughter-in-law flatly denied this, explaining that he was "just a neighbor."

The detective team launched an investigation and, within less than a day, conclusively confirmed that the daughter-in-law was indeed having an affair with the man she met in front of the newlywed home. As the mother-in-law's suspicions proved to be true, a shocking twist was revealed. The son, a philosophy professor at a prestigious university, had already known about his wife's infidelity and willingly accepted it.

The son told his wife, "All humans should be guaranteed sexual autonomy. Just because I married you doesn't mean I want to monopolize you," leaving the studio in shock.

In this episode, musician Yuk Jung-wan appears as a guest detective and energizes the panel. Yuk shared his own past experience of neighboring couples cheating on each other, explaining, "The upstairs husband and the downstairs wife, and the downstairs husband and the upstairs wife all had affairs with each other. Rumors circulated, and eventually, they all moved out," delivering yet another shock.

As the extraordinary stories continued, Kim Poong fumed, saying, "This is trash," and Defcon could not hide his astonishment, calling it "the shock of all shocks." Yuk Jung-wan was also horrified, asking, "Is this really happening in Korea right now?"

The episode airs on Channel A on August 10 at 10 p.m.
