Channel A's "Detectives' Trade Secrets" will cover a suspected case involving a girlfriend who borrowed around 120 million won from her boyfriend under the pretext of her mother's death insurance payout.

The client appearing on the broadcast is an ordinary office worker who runs a pet taxi service as a side job. He met his girlfriend, who is the same age as him, through a customer ride, and the two built a rapport through frequent meetings.

The girlfriend confided that she had lost her father to lung cancer three years ago and that her mother had also passed away two months ago. She then appealed that she was in financial difficulty, saying she had incurred 200 million won in debt from her mother's medical expenses.

On the 19th day after they met, the girlfriend asked for help, saying she needed 13 million won to lift a seizure imposed by a private lending company. Believing her claims that "my mother's death insurance payout of 180 million won will be deposited soon" and "my monthly salary is over 10 million won, so I will pay you back next month," the client used a credit card loan to hand over the money. The two later developed into a romantic relationship.

However, when the repayment time came, the girlfriend brought up the private lender seizure issue again, and the client lent her an additional 111.5 million won over two occasions. The girlfriend said the insurance payout was expected to be increased to 800 million won. In the end, the client even took out loans and began experiencing hardship in his daily life.

The girlfriend suggested that they live together in the company housing where she resided, and the client accepted in order to save on living expenses. However, strange things began happening to the client after he moved into the housing.

Defconn, upon hearing the story, assessed, "It seems like he's completely sunk into a swamp." Yoo In-na reacted, "It's absurd. It's an unbelievable story," and Kim Poong lamented, "This is driving me crazy. What should he do?"

Meanwhile, Park Jung-ah, the leader of the group Jewelry, will appear on the broadcast as a one-day detective. Park Jung-ah shares her thoughts on recently presenting a full-member Jewelry stage with Lee Ji-hyun, Seo In-young, Cho Min-ah, and Ha Ju-yeon for the first time in 20 years. She also revealed unexpected words she heard from a parent while on her child's way to school, changing the atmosphere on set.
