Singer Bang Yong-guk opens a new chapter in his career by signing an exclusive contract with Pacific Music Group (PMG) Korea.

PMG Korea announced the contract with Bang Yong-guk on the 28th. Bang Yong-guk joins PMG Korea as its third artist, following Tiffany Young and Brody. PMG Korea noted that Bang Yong-guk has been active not only in music but also in various creative fields including writing and video, and said it plans to support his wide-ranging creative activities.

From B.A.P Leader to Multifaceted Creator

Bang Yong-guk debuted in 2012 as the leader of the group B.A.P and worked as the producer of all of its albums. He later transitioned to a solo artist, releasing the full-length album 'BANGYONGGUK' in 2019, and proved his global fandom with sold-out shows across a five-country European tour.

His representative works include 'Hikikomori,' 'Orange Drive,' 'RACE,' and the EP '2.' He has continued his music career through featuring on Song Ji-eun's 'Going Crazy,' releasing 'I Remember,' and participating in 'COMING HOME,' the OST of the MBC special project 'A Homecoming of a Hundred Years.'

Outside of music, he published the essay 'To You, Who May Touch My Face' in 2019 and produced the documentary 'Breath,' which was screened in the Open Cinema section of the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, showcasing his versatility as a creator.

'2026 World Tour HAEBANK pt.1' Opens in Paris on the 30th

Starting with a Paris concert on the 30th, Bang Yong-guk will hold the '2026 BANG YONGGUK WORLD TOUR "HAEBANG" pt.1' in major European cities including London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw, and Madrid, as well as Singapore, Seoul, Taipei, and Hong Kong. During the tour, unreleased new songs from his upcoming full-length album are set to be performed live.

PMG, Founded by Ne-Yo and Sonu Nigam, Expands into the Korean Market in Earnest

PMG is an entertainment company founded by American R&B star Ne-Yo, Sonu Nigam, Jonathan Serbin, and others. It recently established its Korean branch, appointing Samuel Koo, an expert on the Korean music industry, as CEO, and with the signing of Bang Yong-guk, it is further expanding its discovery of domestic artists and global collaboration projects.
